irector David Ayer has tweeted out a photo of the assembled Suicide Squad.
The photo depicts (from left to right) Slipknot (?)* (Adam Beach), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), Katana (Karen Fukuhara), Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Deadshot (Will Smith), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) and El Diablo (Jay Hernandez). Ayer dropped the photo with the sentence "Task Force X assembled and ready'.
This is the core team, so not every character in the flick has made the cut - Jared Leto's Joker is once again notably absent, as is Viola Davis' Amanda Waller.
The tweet continues Ayer's tradition of teasing his villain-heavy movie via social media. Last month, his photo of Jared Leto as a tattooed Joker divided fans - will this photo be as controversial?
Suicide Squad began filming last month in Toronto for a scheduled release date of August 5, 2016. Recently, Ben Affleck was spotted on the Suicide Squad set, sparking rumours that Batman may cameo in the film.
