Battlefield Hardline Criminal Activity DLC to feature four new maps

More details about the upcoming Battlefield Hardline Criminal Activity DLC have been announced.
Like Battlefield's past offerings, the DLC will feature four new multiplayer maps, with two of them taking place at night.
Hardline's Multiplayer Producer Zach Mumbach shared the news on theDon'tReviveMeBro podcast, along with a few other details.
There will be new vehicles present in Criminal Activity, he confirmed. But anyone still holding out for airplanes will likely be disappointed.
"No planes," Mumbach said, explaining that the maps they've designed were made to be close-quarters. And, he adds, planes don't quite work with what Battlefield Hardline is trying to do.
"I just don't see how to work it into the fiction of what we're doing," he said. "I'm not necessarily anti-planes, but when I play [Battlefield 4], it just feels like they're fighting each other."
The maps will take place in an urban setting, split between California and Florida. When asked if there would be more destruction added in, Mumbach explained there would be "a little bit more," and he feels this time the team has "done a better job of visually messaging what's destructible and what's not."
Mumbach was careful to share details, but both Premium and Non-premium players will have access to new content.
Although previously announced to have a mid-2015 release window, no solid release date for the DLC is currently known.
Battlefield Hardline is the most recent iteration in EA's long-running military shooter franchise. Featuring combat between cops and criminals, it's a closer-quarters game featuring a greater amount of stealth gameplay than previous Battlefield games.
